Viruses & Vaccines Seminar Series

Join us each 3rd Tuesday of the month at 9 am PT for the Viruses and Vaccines seminar series, a collaborative seminar series featuring experts on respiratory virus epidemiology, immunology, vaccinology and viral evolution and genomics. This event is free and open to the public. Previous speakers include Trevor Bedford, David Veesler, Cécile Viboud, and Jim Heath.

Teaching

Dr. Chu teaches Epidemiology 527- Vaccines in the Fall Quarter at the University of Washington.

Epi 527 covers issues in vaccine development, clinical trials, implementation of vaccination programs, and the role of vaccines in the control of infectious diseases. Emphasizes current issues and real-world challenges in the vaccine field and features critical reading of the literature.
